Emily Fletcher – Bookkeeper/Office Manager

Emily was born in Salt Lake City, UT and lived in the Utah valley for 15 years.  She then moved to Fort Ashby, WV where she graduated from Frankfort High School in Short Gap, WV.  She attended Ricks College in Rexburg, ID and graduated with an Associate’s Degree in accounting. Upon graduation she moved to Bel Air, MD, attended the University of Baltimore and graduated  with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Accounting.  While working toward her degree, she held a full-time position as a full-charge bookkeeper for Tectonic Distributing in Edgewood, MD.

In July of 1996, Emily and her husband Owen moved to Charlestown Manor, in North East, MD.  She worked as the accounting manager for Bit of Britain in North East, MD for 8 years, the Controller for McKenna American in Wilmington, DE for 3.5 years, and the Accounting Manager for Stephens Environmental and Bunny Junction for over 4 years.  She accepted the position of Bookkeeper/Office Manager for the Town in November 2009 and has enjoyed getting to know the Town and its wonderful residents better. 

Emily and her husband have enjoyed this area, especially fishing off of the Town Pier and boating on the Northeast River.  They have been involved in several community events such as the North East Water Festival and Cecil County Christmas Parade.  They also enjoy their horses and frequently take them horseback riding and camping.
