2021 Charlestown Municipal Election

Two (2) Commissioner Seats up for Election

The Charlestown Board of Supervisors of Elections will hold the 2021 Charlestown Municipal Election on March 2, 2021 7:00 AM to 7 PM at the Town Hall Building, 241 Market Street. Charlestown.  Two (2) of 5 Commissioners shall be elected to terms of office which will expire in March, 2023.

Voting

During this health crisis, qualified voters of the Town of Charlestown, must request a mail-in (absentee) ballot application by contacting the Town Hall or using the application supplied in 4th quarter utility billling . There will be no in person voting during this election.   Applications must be received by the Town of Charlestown in a timely manner in order for ballots to be issued, completed and received prior to March 2, 2021 at 7:00PM.

To qualify to vote in the Town of Charlestown you must be at least 18 years of age and have resided in the corporate limits of the town for at least three (3) months preceding any Town Election. (Article VI, Section 25-601).
